Girl Scouts Hornet’s Nest Council
This 670 acre property was purchased by the Council in 2007 to provide a central multi-purpose site for Troop Camping, Resident Camping and Environmental Education. The plans called for development of a 25 acre lake in the center of the site and the creation of three separate program centers including a Troop Camp, year-round Resident Camp and multi-purpose Activity Center. The Activity Center includes sports fields and courts, water adventure, aquatics and a major equestrian center. The lake and first two camper villages was completed in 2010. A dining pavilion was completed in 2016.
